All-on-4 Dental Implants in Havre de Grace, MD

Fix Your Smile& See The Difference in Your Life.
Let’s Restore Your Smile!

Advanced decay, gum disease, and tooth loss can have a profound effect on both your smile and your quality of life. You may feel self-conscious, be unable to eat your favorite foods, worry that you look older than you are, and think that dentures just aren’t for you.

The All-on-4 dental implants procedure uses implants to support a full arch prosthesis that stays in your mouth by attaching permanently to the implants that are placed carefully into your bone.  You can’t take these teeth in and out; they virtually become part of you and are the most advanced way to replace all of your teeth.

Luckily, there’s a modern and high-tech alternative to traditional adhesive dentures. The All on Four system can be used to restore all of the teeth in your upper or lower jaw using as few as 4 dental implants and custom restoration. With All-on-4 dental implants, you’ll have a picture-perfect smile without the hassle and frustration of dentures.

All-on-4 is as easy as 1-2-3

  1. Book your first appointment and consultation at Union Dental Center
  2. Meet with a dentist to evaluate your dental health and answer any questions you have
  3. Plan your All-on-4 treatment and get started working towards seeing your brand new smile

How does All-on-4 work?

No two All-on-4 denture treatments are the same. Only by first evaluating the health of your teeth, gums, and jaw bone can we develop your treatment plan. In some cases of advanced bone loss or tooth decay, we may begin with ridge augmentation, sinus lift or bone graft. These surgical procedures strengthen the jaw bone to ensure your implants have a secure, healthy, and stable foundation.

Once any needed grafts have healed, we’ll place the implants and the restoration in a single visit or the next day, depending on your situation.

Although All-on-4 generally requires 2-3 months of total healing time, many patients experience little discomfort and only need a few days of mild pain relievers directly after the surgery.  We’ll also schedule follow-up appointments to monitor the healing process.

Frequently Asked Questions About All-on-4 Dental Implants

Do I need to change what I eat after All-on-4?

No! Once your implants have healed, you can return to eating and drinking all the foods you enjoy. Immediately following your treatment, we do recommend soft foods and soups to aid in the healing process.

I’ve had dentures for years. Will All-on-4 work for me?

If you’re looking to say goodbye to your dentures, All-on-Four implants may be a great option. We’ll assess your health and bone grafting/bridge augmentation may be needed before completing your All-on-4 dental implant treatment.

Will insurance pay for my treatment?

We work with most major insurance providers and will discuss financing and payment options when planning your All-on-4 dental implant treatment. Although this treatment is often a non-covered service we will work to maximize any benefits you might be entitled to.

How are All-on-4 Dental Implants different from dentures?

Unlike dentures, All-on-4 implants are fixed to your mouth. This is a permanent solution that looks and feels just like natural teeth.

What’s the difference between All-on-4 dental implants and traditional implants?

The main difference is that the traditional implant technique uses up to 10 implants or more in each jaw. In contrast, the All-on-4 dental implant technique uses only 4 implants per arch.

In most cases, this procedure is performed in one single appointment.

Am I a good candidate for an All-on-4 dental implant?

You may be a good candidate for this procedure if you are missing several or all of your teeth.

If you are interested in replacing your missing teeth once and for all, schedule an appointment with one of our dentists today. They will assess your situation and determine if this is the right treatment.
